Community Guidelines

GolfHer is designed for women golfers but open to all genders. Welcome every player regardless of skill level, background, age, or experience. Everyone starts somewhere — help others feel comfortable and included.

Treat every interaction as if you're speaking face-to-face on the first tee. Be kind, patient, and constructive. Disagreements are fine — disrespect is not. No name-calling, insults, or demeaning language.

Never share another person's private information without their consent. Don't pressure anyone to share personal details, meet in private, or do anything they're uncomfortable with. Report any behavior that makes you feel unsafe.

Post content that uplifts the community — your best shots, course tips, golf moments, and encouragement. Don't post offensive, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or violent content. Don't share photos of others without their permission.

Course reviews help the entire community. Be honest and constructive in your ratings. Share specific details that would help other golfers — walkability, amenities, pace of play. Don't post fake reviews or use reviews to settle personal grievances.

If you join a tee time or agree to play with someone, show up. Life happens — if you need to cancel, do so as early as possible through the app. Repeated no-shows affect other players and may result in account restrictions.

Don't use GolfHer for unsolicited advertising, commercial promotion, or spam. This includes posting links to external products, services, or fundraisers without relevance to the golf community.

Don't create fake profiles, impersonate others, use bots, or manipulate the matching system. One account per person. Use your real identity — first name and last initial at minimum. Be the golfer you'd want to play with.
